Having reached 120kg and at the same time realizing the need to at last invest in my future health, I decided to lose weight in a sustained and uncomplicated way.
The method described by Ms Elliott has provided me that. It’s simple and practical and importantly works in with the rest of the family without the need for special meals. It provides an uncomplicated and simple framework that is no effort to stick with. I can see it becoming a life style change rather than a set of complex calorie counts that would drive a person to distraction. I eat protein and vegetables most of the day then join in with the family meal at the end of the day. I drink water and black coffee in quantities only seen in the flows of the Yarra river.
I am targeting 95kg and I am getting there at about a third of a kg a day. I feel a lot better in terms of health. I can bend over and still breathe without my tummy getting in the way (something the skinny bastards don’t have to think about). It is an easy and enjoyable life style change and I really don’t see it as a diet.
